Access
The motorway network is connected to the Blackpool Airport entrance
by dual carriageway. Buses serving the local area are available
at the airport entrance. Blackpool Airport's Passenger Terminal
is only five minutes walk from the Squires Gate Railway Station.
Services connect with the Rail Network via Preston. A passenger
pick-up and set-down area is located at the front of the Terminal.
(From Junction 4 of the M55 follow the A5230 and turn left at
first roundabout.)
Car Parking
With large car parks right outside the Terminal Building and some
of the cheapest airport parking in the country, payable at the
Information Desk, it couldn't be easier to park your car.
Disabled Persons Car Parking
6 wide parking spaces opposite the Terminal's arrival entrance.
Public Transport
Regular services to Blackpool and North Fylde and also Lytham
St. Annes stop just outside the Airport entrance. For further

Licensed Private Hire Vehicles
A rank is situated outside the Terminal Building and a freephone
is located next to the public telephone.

The catchment area is home to numerous international
manufacturing companies as well as being a major tourist area.
Blackpool is the Conference Capital of the North.
Blackpool Airport - Passenger Facilities
TERMINAL
Opened in Summer 1995. The simple design and soft pastel colours
provide a pleasant relaxing atmosphere.
Check-in
There are six check-in desks in the spacious departure concourse.
Passenger Lounges
Two Domestic Lounges provide ample comfortable seating. The International
Departure Lounge is set in pleasant surroundings and offers catering
facilities and duty free shopping to outbound passengers. Lounges
can be combined to accommodate larger passenger loads.
Licensed Private Hire Vehicles
A rank is situated outside the Terminal Building and a freephone
is located next to the public telephone.
Catering Facilities
A comfortable bar and buffet is situated in the main concourse
area, it provides a wide variety of meals, drinks and snacks.
A smaller bar area is also situated in the International Departure
Lounge.
Shop
Located next to the main bar it is open throughout airport operating
hours for the sale of newspapers magazines, books, confectionery,
soft drinks, pharmaceutical items and gifts.
Information
Leaflets and brochures regarding flights and local attractions
are available from the display stands at the information desk.
Disabled Passenger Facilities
The airport is on one level and has excellent facilities for disabled
passengers. Wheelchairs are available if required and check-in
desks all have low shelves. Disabled toilets are situated in all
areas of the Terminal Building, as are low-level payphones. A
passenger pick-up and set-down area is located at the front of
the Terminal.
Bureau de Change
The Bureau de Change facility, next to the Information Desk, is
available for all International flights.
Telephones and Post Box
Public telephones are available in all areas of the Terminal Building
and a Post Box is situated just outside.
Baby Changing
A baby changing unit can be found at the far end of the main Ladies
toilet area.
Baggage
A supply of trolleys is readily available for both arriving and
departing passengers.
