Parking
Parking Arlanda airport offers a number of parking alternatives and
price categories. All entrances and exits of parking areas are under
surveillance 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
- Terminal Parking
Parking areas are located in close proximity of the terminals, both
indoor and outdoor. There is also a garage under SkyCity. Parking
charges are paid before you collect your vehicle. A manual cash
desk and pay machines is situated in Terminals 2, 4 and 5. There
is only pay machine available in the SkyCity garage.
- Handicap parking permit
Every parking area has special marked parking spaces for those with
a handicap parking permit. On arrival and when paying, contact the
cash desk and show the parking permit. The parking charges, regardless
of parking area, are the same as for long stay parking. This does
not apply to parking in the garage under SkyCity.

Avis, Rent a Car, Europcar/Interrent and Hertz car hire
offices are to be found in Arlandas car hire area. During peak times,
a shuttle bus service runs between the terminals and the hire car companies.
During low peak times the shuttle bus can be requested by using the
special telephones which are available in the terminals.
Bus
- Flygbussarna - Airport buses
- There are about 300 daily airport bus departures from Stockholm
city and Arlanda. At peak times a bus leaves every 10 minutes.
Stockholm Airport buses stop at terminals 2, 4 and 5.
- The Uppsala local bus network run special Stockholm Airport
buses from Uppsala to Arlanda. The route number is 801. During
peak times the buses run every 15 minutes.
- Bus/taxi
A set price for a combined airport bus and taxi trip is available.
This involves the taxi picking you up and driving you to the nearest
airport bus stop.
- Bus/commuter trains
Bus route number 583 connects with the commuter train at Märsta
station. The Stockholm local bus network and the commuter trains
charge according to the local traffic tariffs.
Taxi
Taxis are available outside the terminals at the taxi-ranks. The taxis
are divided into different price categories. The cheapest being those
in the taxi-ranks outside the terminals.
Trains
- Arlanda Express
The Stockholm Airport train leaves every 15 minutes in peak times
from Arlanda and Stockholm Central. There are automatic check-in
machines available at the Central Station, baggage should then be
handed in at the special counters at Arlanda. If you have no luggage,
go direct to the departure Gate. There are three exits from the
train to the airport, one in terminal 5, one servicing terminals
2 and 3 and one for terminal 4.
- Long distance trains
This leave from Arlanda C which is directly under SkyCity. Entrances
to the station are from the plaza, SkyCity and from the departure
hall in terminal 5. There are about 70 trains leaving Arlanda every
day. These trains go to the Mälardals region and to the north.
In the plaza at SkyCity are SJ (Swedish railway company) manned
IT stations. These stations provide tickets and information on train
times. Two railway companies operate out of Arlanda C: SJ, TIM and
Tågkompaniet.
