About San Sebastian
San Sebastian is well communicated with Madrid,
London and Paris and is a lively city of around 185,000 inhabitants,
some 16,500 of whom are university students. As the cultural capital
of the Basque country, it has a wide range of cultural offerings.
San Sebastian offers internationally renowned cuisine, major
music and film festivals as well as countless other festivities
- the "Semana Grande", Carnival, the "Caldereros"

San Sebastian airport is in the locality of Hondarribia,
22 kilometres northeast of the city of San Sebastian, in the district
of Bidasoa, on the River Bidasoa estuary.
Its traffic is scheduled domestic, as well as international,
and in 2005 it handled 306,050 passengers.
It has handled 11,006 flight operations and 415 tonnes of cargo.
