Palma de Mallorca is a very important city and
capital of the Balearic Islands. Palma is an ancient Mediterranean
port city marked by its blend of Gothic, Moorish, and Renaissance
monuments, palm trees, yacht harbors, modern luxury hotels, and
apartments. It is known universally for its great charm, often
called "The Pearl" of the Mediterranean, it is situated
on the south coast of the island, round the Bay of Palma, with
