Passenger Terminal at Genoa Airport

The Genoa Airport passenger terminal blends the elegance of it's structure - it looks like an arrow tip heading straight for the runway - with extreme functionality.

The passenger terminal at Genoa Airport is on four different levels and is designed to handle a flow of about 1,500 passengers per hour.

On the ground floor there are the arrival areas and facilities; on the first floor those for departures; on the third floor the restaurant, the snack bar, the panoramic terrace and airline offices; on the fourth, the offices of the managing company and Enac.

Five mobile bridges directly connect Genoa Airport to aircraft, to facilitate the boarding and disembarkation of passengers. Inside Genoa Airport there are other pleasant surprises: shopping at the duty-free and other shops; a work dinner at the much appreciated "Incontro" restaurant; the counter with various banking services, the post office, the counters for car hire and tourist information.

For frequent flyers Cristoforo Colombo also provides a cosy VIP lounge, called the "Sala Genova", whose furnishing reminds one of the lounges on big ocean liners: here you will find telephones, a fax service, e-mail and Internet, press agencies, television sets, fridge-bars and a bookshop. For passengers with right of access to the Sala Genova who have no hand luggage, telephone check-in is also available.
