You can get to the airport by taxi round the clock. The taxi-rank is conveniently located in front of Terminal 1, level 3 (Departure level). From here you get straight to the check-in counters.

Bus Services
There are several direct bus links from the surrounding area serving the airport. Since 1 March 2000 the bus stop has been conveniently located in front of the center of Terminal 1 at the Arrivals level. You can find your individual departure and arrival times on the Stuttgart Airport website.

Train Services
Stuttgart Central Station is part of the ICE, EC, IC and IR train network and located at the heart of the city. Visit the Stuttgart Airport web site to find your individual departure and arrival times.

Airport Sightseeing Tour
Stuttgart Airport offers guided tours at the following times:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00, 11:00, 14:00
  • Friday: 9:00, 11:00

Stuttgart Airport regret that it is not possible to see the interior of an aircraft or the tower.

  • Tours are designed for groups of not more than 30 people.
  • Dial: 0711/ 948-23 26 and sign up from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 12:00.
  • Visiting school groups go free of charge.

Please book early in advance. Reservations can be made for the following year as from November.
