Since the foundation of the Rostock-Laage-Güstrow GmbH company and the signing of the joint-use contract with the Federal Army in 1992 Rostock-Laage Airport has developed into an all-round commercial airport with the sectors: scheduled and holiday flights, air cargo, and general aviation. Rostock-Laage Airport ensures that Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is linked to the international air transport network by direct flights abroad or transfer flights to international hubs in Germany. Today, there are regular scheduled flights to Hamburg, Dortmund and Cologne - Bonn.

Services at Rostock Laage Airport

Free parking
Whatever the time of year, you can park your car free of charge at Rostock-Laage Airport - right in front of the terminal, on the P2 short-stay car park or the long-stay car parks P1, P3 and P4.

Baggage
Baggage trolleys are provided in front of the terminal and in the car parks. Baggage loss or damage is the responsibility of the relevant carrier airline. Damage can be reported at the Service Center.

Terminal
The passenger terminal is open for business from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Excepted from this regulation are departure times before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. The departure areas provide a relaxed and family-friendly service for holidaymakers and business people. They have ample seating, a play area for children, automatic vending machines for drinks, and duty-free shopping.

Check-in
Passengers and their baggage can be checked in at three counters. Passengers for holiday flights should carefully inform themselves beforehand about the required travel documents and entry and exit regulations. They should arrive at Rostock Laage Airport two hours before departure time.

Flying with Children
