Food and drink
There is an à la carte service on board transavia flights.
You can select what you want from the menu and pay on board. The
menu normally includes a range of hot beverages, soft drinks and
alcoholic drinks, as well as luxury rolls and other snacks. Transavia
would appreciate it if you could have the right money ready. Note
that any alcohol consumed on board must be purchased on board.
Shopping
You can purchase a wide range of attractively priced goods on
board transavia flights. You save on the difference between the
recommended retail price and the prices charged on board. Their
cabin attendants will come through the aisle with a range of perfumes,
jewellery, sunglasses, watches, accessories, toys and confectionery.
Special offers
In addition to the normal range of items that can look through
in the Wings magazine on board, they also have a number of special
offers every month.
Payment in euro or with a credit card
You can only pay in euro or with your credit card on board. Transavia
would be very grateful if you could have the right money ready.
Dutch customs restrictions
Passengers travelling to the Netherlands from a country within
the EU are permitted to purchase an unlimited quantity of goods
on board. But you cannot purchase cigarettes and spirits on flights
within the EU.
Guarantee
Transavia guarantees the quality of all items sold on board. All
items purchased on board come with a one-year guarantee. Note
that it is not possible to order items sold on board at a later
date.
Because some of the routes Transavia fly are very short, it may
not be possible for them to complete the service on board. This
applies particularly to routes from Amsterdam to London Stansted
and from London Stansted to Amsterdam.
