Phuket Air History
Phuket Air was established in 2001 to correspond with the Open Sky policy of the Thai Government. The company began its operations with one Boeing 737-200 jet, which it used to offer daily flight services on the Bangkok-Ranong-Bangkok and Bangkok-Phuket-Bangkok routes. Phuket Air has since then grown gradually. In 2002 it offered its quality services with 3 aircrafts to 5 destinations with a total of 150 skillful employees.

Phuket Air aims for a long-term future and maintain a sound foundation to offering the most convenient, safe and enjoyable travel experience to all passengers. They bring together aviation industry professionals with a solid understanding of both the technical and business aspects of running the airline.

In 2002, Phuket Air has commissioned Air France Consulting, a consulting arm of Air France, to advise the airline on key business issues to facilitate the airline's ambitious growth strategy.
