MERIDIANA AIRLINE ROUTES
Meridiana Airlines fly to/from:
Amsterdam, Barcellona, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Firenze, Lampedusa,
Londra, Gatwick, Madrid, Milano Linate, Napoli, Olbia, Palermo,
Pantelleria, Parigi Cdg, Roma Fiumicino, Torino and Verona.
Meridiana takes care to enforce the regularity and
punctuality of its flight schedules; but the airline assumes no
liability for any delay, suspension, and changes in schedule or
missed connections.
Taxes
Published fares include sales tax, but do not include airport,
security or other possible taxes.
Use of mobiles
In compliance with the rules of the Italian Ente Nazionale Aviazione
Civile, the use of mobiles is allowed on Meridiana flights with
the following conditions: at departure, cell phones may be used
until the cabin door is closed; after landing, cell phones can
be used after the cabin door is opened. The captain of the flight
may impose additional restrictions when the use of cell phones
is considered incompatible with on-going operations, or may allow
their use in case of prolonged wait on board while the aircraft
is stationary on the ground.
Electronic equipment
The use of CD players, portable personal computers, and hand-held
electronic games is not allowed on board Meridiana. For the use
of other electronic items please consult the flight attendants.
Reservations
Flights can be booked at Meridiana’s offices, authorized
Travel Agencies, or Meridiana’s Call Centre. Reservations
are considered final only after the ticket has been issued. Inform
in time of any variation or cancellation regarding your reservations
to avoid the possible penalties established by national or international
tariffs.
Overbooking
Meridiana accepts more reservations for flights than it has seats
available to limit the effects of regularly booked passengers
that do not show up at the airport, and to allow other passengers,
who would otherwise be unable to travel, to occupy their place.
This practice is carefully monitored and is based on the number
of passengers expected to show up for each single flight. Meridiana
gives passengers who are unjustifiably denied boarding because
of an overbooked flight a compensation.
