Flight services are important in introducing Iran Air services. The demand for passenger services has increased over the years. The flight services department considers this point that in order to offer successful services on board of the aircraft attention and concern are needed. Since 1997, flight attendants training courses have been applied to train qualified personals in order to gain the desired qualities in serving passengers. A lot of direct contacts with passengers, distributing questionnaires and analyzing them have resulted in many new services, menus, meals and entertainments which are more appropriate for passengers.

Iran has always been famous for hospitality, and offering excellent services to guests has been a symbolic gesture of this hospitality. Iran Air has followed that tradition. More than 1000 employees in Iran Air's catering department are taking every effort to make sure that the hygienic and delicious food would satisfy the tastes and likings of all passengers.

The Iran Air Catering Department is also providing services to more than 29 other airlines. Besides the well equipped Catering Department in Tehran, Iran Air has several catering production centers in other major cities of Iran.

In 2001 more than 10.5 million meals were produced by the Catering Department. Besides providing excellent food and beverages, Iran Air offers several other inflight services such as movies, music, newspapers and magazines.
