Flybe Check-in times
Flybe passengers who present themselves after check-in has closed
will not be allowed to board the flight and will forfeit their
seat - no refund or free transfer will be given.
Flybe Domestic flights
Check-in a minimum of 30 minutes if you have hold baggage and
20 minutes if you are travelling with hand baggage only.
Flybe International flights
Check-in a minimum of 60 minutes if you have hold baggage and
45 minutes if you are travelling with hand baggage only.
Pre-assigning your seat
You can select your seat on the aircraft by contacting their customer
call centre.
Flybe Discounted travel
Discounts are only applicable on domestic flights for infants
under 2 years old. Accompanied by an adult and not occupying a
seat, an infant is carried at 12% of the adult fare. Discounts
may not be available on promotional classes.
Pushchairs
If your infant is in a pushchair, it is normally possible when
you check in to arrange to have it with you right to the aircraft.
It is worth noting that the sucking action of feeding helps to
counteract any earache that may be caused by changes in pressure
during take-off and landing. Most children like to carry their
own rucksack on board packed with a few books or games, a snack
(for fussy eaters!) and sweets to suck during take off and landing.
Unaccompanied children
Children aged between 6 and '11 years 364 days' are eligible to
be carried unaccompanied on Flybe services. These passengers have
special requirements, Flybe are required to check flights when
bookings are made, to ensure that they do not carry more than
their regulations allow per flight. Flybe also require at the
time of booking, the name, address and contact number of the person
taking the child to the departure airport and also that of the
person taking collecting at the destination.
