DBA Check-in at the Self-Service Kiosk:
DBA customers are able to check in by machine. The First Terminals
are already. By 2005 more machines will be available at the cities
Munich, Berlin-Tegel, Cologne/Bonn, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart
For security reasons, airports from which dba operates have stipulated
that as of 2002 passengers can no longer access the safety area
without being in possession of a valid boarding card. For this
reason dba is now unable to check in passengers directly at the
Check-in the evening before you fly:
The advance check-in service has been discontinued as of 2002.
This also applies to dba charter flights.
The DBA Electronic ticket - your virtual ticket
The electronic ticket replaces the conventional flight ticket
with an electronic data set. This data set is securely stored
as a "paperless document" in their booking system and
therefore there is no need to send paper documents. When you arrive
at the airport make your way directly to the Check-in. Upon presenting
a valid means of identification including a photo you will receive
your boarding card. Also do not forget valid passports for children
and infants travelling with you.
