Fuel Surcharge
Effective from 2004 Bahamasair is having to increase the fuel surcharge per segment on all of its flights to assist in defraying the escalating cost of fuel. Bahamasair regrets having to do so but is forced to until fuel prices abate. The public should be aware that this increase is still not as high as the fuel surcharges recently imposed by their international competitors.

Excess Baggage Policy
Effective from 2004, Bahamasair will increase the fees levied for excess, overweight and oversized bags. This increase is necessary to offset the cost to transport these bags, which exceeds the revenue being collected.

Bahamasair will make every effort to deliver all bags within a 24 hour period. They appreciate the support of their loyal passengers and the traveling public and encourage you to take note of these new prices to avoid any inconveniences.
