ARIANA AFGHAN ROUTES
Ariana Afghan Airlines fly to and from:
Kabul, Frankfurt, Moscow, Dubai, Sharjah, Jebdah, Dushanbe, Tehran,
Urumqi, Amritsar, Baku, Ankara, Istanbul, Islamabad and Delhi.
Ariana Afghan Airlines currently owns three Airbus A300/B4,
four Boeing 727-200 Advance Series, and one Antonov 24. The Airbuses
accommodate 232 passengers – 16 Executive Class and 216
Economy Class. Two pallets and 14 containers can be loaded in
the lower holds and about nine tones of cargo can be carried on
the aircraft. The aircraft, which meet the current noise standards
(Chapter 3 requirements), fly over a distance of 3,900 kilometers
while carrying a payload of 31 tones.
Ariana Afghan Airlines Safety
the Airline was founded in 1955 as a national flag carrier of
Afghanistan. In 1955 it obtained the membership of International
Air Transport Associations. In 1956 Pan American, one of the trunk
airlines of the United States of America, with 51% Afghan Government
and 49% Pan American became the shareholder of Ariana Afghan Airlines.
Pan American associated all of its efforts towards airline's
capabilities in safe, economic and efficient operation. The operation
and maintenance of Ariana fleet were to FAA standard. Ariana staff
have been trained in the United States to the high level of proficiency.
Ariana was operating to the region as well as east and west Europe
with good operation standard to ICAO and IATA requirements. Pan
American withdraws its membership from Ariana Afghan Airlines
the airlines kept and continued its standard of safety and efficiency.
